FM103: Dare to Dream Hummingbird

This card was made for the Friday Mashup card challenge. The challenge was to use ruled/notebook paper and to add distress to the card. The backgroud paper was made from notebook paper. I distressed it by first sponging on Sahara Sand ink. I then stamped with Versamark the SU Medallion stamp and embossed. Finally, I crumpled up the paper and sponged the wrinkles with Soft Suede ink. I also embossed the hummingbird image. I painted over the stamped image with some crackle paint.

And, now for the details...

  1. Wow, I wouldn't have guessed your background was notebook paper. Great job on the stamping and distressing! Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

  2. You have done a great job creating the background, and the focal point with the hummingbird and the orange flowers is fab. Thanks for playing along with us at the Friday Mashup this week.
